How to use a free online image format converter

Choose the source format first, pick the target format next, upload up to 4 files, and convert each image through a simple upload-to-download flow.

1. Select the source and target formats

Start by choosing the original image format, then pick the format you want to convert to. After that, upload your files and run the conversion right away.

The current image converter supports JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, WEBP, GIF, and HEIC inputs, with JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, WEBP, GIF, HEIC, and PDF available as output choices.

2. Upload up to 4 images in one job

Like the other tools in K-CONVERTER, the image converter supports up to 4 files per job. Each file can be up to 100MB, and you can upload files either by drag and drop or by opening the file picker.

This keeps the workflow familiar if you already use the video-to-WEBP tool or the PDF optimizer.

3. Transparency, animation, and PDF behavior

When the target format supports transparency, K-CONVERTER keeps transparent areas as transparent. When the selected target format does not support transparency, the converter shows a warning and replaces transparent areas with a checkerboard-style background in the output.

If an animated GIF or WEBP is converted to a still-image format such as JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, HEIC, or PDF, only the first frame is used. When converting between GIF and WEBP, animation is preserved when the source is animated.

If you choose PDF as the target, each uploaded image is converted into its own PDF file rather than merging everything into one combined document.
